Our Main goal is to assist health care professionals in identifying and applying the best research evidence that address issues relevant to their patients' health care needs. Your active contribution and participation in the meeting will indeed help all of us to adopt and implement evidence based practice that integrate scientific evidence with physicians experiences and patients values. 1. Identify the best internet resources for getting high quality EBM information to answer their questions.
2. Construct an effective search strategy for searching about Evidence in electronic EBM resources and the Medline databases.
3. Effectively browse different internet resources seeking the best available evidence.
4. Evaluate medical information retrieved from different internet sites, based on website credibility and validity of information.

Our Main goal is to assist health care professionals in identifying and applying the best research evidence that address issues relevant to their patients' health care needs. Your active contribution and participation in the meeting will indeed help all of us to adopt and implement evidence based practice that integrate scientific evidence with physicians experiences and patients values. It will give all participants ample opportunities for discussing the issue and exchange knowledge and experience.

Venue: Scientific Research Academy
Required infrastructure: 7-10 computers linked to the internet, plasma screen, laptop, data projector and hand out materials.
Detailed Objectives:
1. Identify the best internet resources for getting high quality EBM information to answer their questions.
2. Construct an effective search strategy for searching about Evidence in electronic EBM resources and the Medline databases.
3. Effectively browse different internet resources seeking the best available evidence.
4. Evaluate medical information retrieved from different internet sites, based on website credibility and validity of information.

Detailed Objectives:
• Define evidence based medicine and discuss its importance for today's health care practitioners.
• Formulate clear clinical questions to help them solve problems they face on their daily clinical practice.
• Choose from a hierarchy of research design the best design suitable to answer their clinical queries.
• Discuss different research bias and consider the importance of each while evaluating evidence about therapeutic interventions.
