بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

نويت ان شاء الله ادخل امتحان الزمالة البريطانية في الجراحة 15 يناير المقبل مع واحد من زمايلي

لو حد عنده رغبة في الانضمام للمجموعة عشان نشجع بعض اهلا بيه
ولو فيه اي استفسار انا تحت امره

من فترة و انا بدور على حد يشجعنى عشان يذاكر معايا للــ
MRCS
انا بالفعل بدأت اذاكر شوية كدا
بس للأسف انا متردد ادخل الامتحان الجاى فى سبتمبر ولا ادخل الى بعده فى يناير
المشكلة كلها فى الجيش
انا مش عارف ايه ممكن يكون موقفى من الجيش
و الى هيتحدد فى الفترة مابين 10 يوليو و اول اكتوبر
و الفترة دى الى المفروض هيبقى فيها اجراآت الفرز او الكشف الطبى
و طبعا ممكن يكون يوم 10 سبتمبر دا يوم الكشف الطبى
طبعاً دا افتراض جزافى جدا
بس محدش يعرف مصير الواحد هيبقى ايه؟؟
هنتأجل
و فى الحالة دى احتمال كبير جدا الواحد يستقيل و يشوف مصلحته فى القصر العينى
و لا هناخد سنة
الواحد يقضيها فى الجيش و يخلصها و بعد كدا برده يشوف مصلحته فى القصر العينى
بس فى الحالة دى الواحد مش هيبقى خسر وزارة الصحة الى هى مش مكسب اصلا
او لا قدر الله الواحد هيلبس 3 سنين ظابط
و الله اعلم الواحد ممكن يعمل ايه فى نفسه ساعتها

فى الحالة الاولى و التانية
الواحد ممكن يكمل الزمالة عادى
لكن فى الحالة التالتة
المصير مجهول مجهول مجهول

انما بقى ايه المشكلة و ليه انا واجع دماغكو بالكلام دا
اولا انا عايز اوضح ليكو حاجة
ان فى حاجة اهم بكتييير من الزمالة
و هى التدريب العملى و الممارسة
فالزمالة بدون تدريب عملى جيد و ممارسة فى مكان محترم
هتتحول لشهادة عادية زى شهادة البكالوريوس العادية بتاعتنا هنا
و فجأه هتلاقى نفسك اخصائى ولا حتى استشارى و انت لسا ممسكتش مشرط
او مسكته بس ......
لذلك
فان اول نصيحة هقولها ليكو و اهم نصيحة
و النصيحة دى الى قالها لى استاذى الدكتور حسين خيرى
ان اهم حاجة تضمن مكان او تخطط لمكان هتتدرب فيه
طبعاً لو كان ليك نيابة المشكلة محلولة
و لو كنت معفى من الجيش المشكلة محلولة الى حد ما
فالاستقالة موجودة فى الدرج مستنية تشوف النور

حاجة تانية مهمة
لازم تكون متأكد الاول انك عاوز تبقى جراح
و دى برده حاجة مهمة جداً
لازم تحضر كتير فى المستشفى
و تعيش مع النواب
و تتحمل المسؤولية
و تبات فى المستشفى و تتطحن
و دا عشان لازم تشوف الجراحة من كل الجهات و فى كل الظروف
عشان دا هيبقى اسلوب حياتك بعد كدا
و عشان برده متندمش

اعتقد ان الى هيعدى الحاجتين الى انا ذكرتهم فى الاول دول
و ميقررش يدخل امتحان الزمالة يبقى بيغلط غلطة كبيرة قوى

لأنها شهادة معترف بها دولياً و محترمة
دا بالرغم انها مبقتش بأحترام زمان و بقى بيشوبها شبهات تانية
زى مثلاً انهم بيقولو ان الانجليز بيبيعو لينا الشهادة دى
اهى ورقة مش عارف بكام استرلينى و هما مش خسرانين اى حاجة
عشان كدا بيشجعو الناس عليها و بيجرجرو رجليهم فيها
و بيقولو ان الجيش برده بدأ يلعب نفس اللعبة دى
بدليل ان كل ظباط الجيش الى بيدخلوها بينجحو على طول و من اول مرة
و كل الى بيحضر الدورات الى بيعملها الجيش و الى بالشئ الفلانى بينجح هو كمان على طول
و دا جعلى الناس تشك ان فيه شبة اتفاق بين الجيش و الانجليز

بصرف النظر عن الكلام دا كله
و بصرف النظر عن كل الى بيتقال
احنا خلينا نستفيد من الشهادة دى حق الاستفادة
علمياً و عملياً او حتى كمان مادياً ان شاء الله لو ربنا كرمنا و سفرنا سنتين ولا حاجة فأى دولة عربية لو انت عاوز

اول حاجة هقولها
معلش هعيدها تانى و هى
التدريب و التعليم
و حضور المرور و الحضور فى العمليات
و دا باستمرار و لفترات مش قصيرة

اولا ارجو مراجعة مواقع كلية الجراحين الملكية البريطانية و تنزيل كل الوثائق الى عليها
و قرائتها بشكل محكم وجدى

فالحل الكتير مهم جداً
و القصص كتير عن ناس حلو الكتب دى بس و ذاكروها فى خمسة ايام و عدو الامتحان

الشركة دى هى تقريبا الى محتكرة كل الكتب الى على النظام الجديد بتاع الامتحان
و الكتب بتاعتها موجودة على الموقع بتاعهم على الانترنت
و موجودة فى المكتبات فى الكلية
و هى دى الى بتاع المكتية هيديهالك لو روحت تقوله انك عاوز كتب الاسئلة او حتى الشرح كمان
فى منهم كتاب اسمه

يعنى مش كارثة لو الواحد مخلصوش او حتى كمان لو مفتحوش

و اعتقد برده ان كتاب

هيكون مغطى جزء كبير منها
بس برده مش هيبقى مغطى كل حاجة

أحب أضيف معلومة :
اللي ناوي على جراحة ميعقدش نفسه من صعوبة عيشة النواب
الواحد مش هايفضل نائب على الأبد
الجراح بيتمرمط 3 سنين و بيبقا بعدهم بعون الله باشا .. الناس كلها بتتمرمط حواليه و هوا راجل معدي


أنا باقول كده و انا مش متحمس للجراحة أصلا
لكن احقاقا للحق

معلومات غزيرة فادتني جدا مع اني غصت في موضوع الام ار سي اس
جزاك الله خيرا يا اسمر


بالنسبة للرغبة للخوض في الجراحة انا مش مستعد اتخصص حاجة غير جراحة
مافيش حاجة كويسة من غير مرمطة

بالنسبة للتدريب العملي
انا مش ضامن اشتغل في حتة فيها تعليم
بس ده ميمنعش ابدا بل بالعكس يشجعني اني اعدي الجزء الاول عشان يزود امكانيات الملف الشخصي بتاعي ويمكن يخليني الحق حاجة كويسة
وعن نفسي مش هرضى بحتة مفهاش تعليم محترم ان شالا اخد نايب زائر

والواحد فاضي ومش هيضر

كمان مافيش مدة محددة بعد الجزء الاول عشان تخش الجزء التاني
بيبدأو يعدو 3 سنين ونص من الجزء التاني

لو هتخش امتحان سبتمبر الحجز بيبقى الايام دي ويخلص يوم 27


رأيي تخش معانا وقدامك وقت كويس تزاكر فيه
وبرده استفسر عن موضوع الجيش ده على الاقل تعرب هيبدأ امتى

انا لسه فى سنة خامسة بس كنت عايزة اسأل بخصوص النقطة دى
لو واحد ملوش نيابة فى القصر العينى
وعايز يتعلم غالبا هيبقى مصيره ايه
او بيشتغل فين
وهل التكليف هيغنى الواحد ويخليه يتعلم واللا ايه ؟
وهل هينفع الواحد يشتغل فى مكان كويس وهوا لسه متخرج ومعندوش خبرة ؟

الى مألفه ناس لسا آخدين الـــ

بس شايف انه مش مهم قوى
يعنى مش كارثة لو الواحد مخلصوش او حتى كمان لو مفتحوشزى ما قولت قبل كدا

بس الاحسن تذاكر رفترى كويس جدا
و تقرا شوية حاجات من الكتاب دا كدا على مذاجك زى الــ

و كله على حسب الوقت المتاح
و طبعا كل ما قريت اكتر كل ما كان احسن

على فكرة انا قررت تأجيل دخول الامتحان لحين تحديد موقفى من الجيش
و الى هيتحدد قريبا و فى خلال شهر او اتنين على الاكتر
بس لسا الحمد لله مبطلتش مذاكرة

1.الكتب التى اعتمدت عليها و تلك التى كانت مفيدة في الإمتحان
2.الوقت المطلوب تقريبا للمذاكرة و المراجعة و ال .mcq

النظام اللي انا امتحنته واللي هيستمر ان شاء الله
180 single best answer في 3 ساعات يعني السؤال بدقيقة
قصدي الحالة بدقيقة اصل الاسئلة معظمها حالات زي اللي كانت بتجلنا في بكالوريوس في النظري
انا خلصت من هنا وقالولنا سيبو الورق من هنا والساعة كانت قدامي علاطول
فيه ناس سابت اسئلة بس الحمد لله بالنسبالي ربنا ستر

بالنسبة للكتب
الكتاب الاساسي لرافتري حوالي 400 صفحة هتلاقيه في المكتبات
فيه اناتومي و فسيولوجي وباثولوجي
الاناتومي اللي فيه ناقص جدا
تكمله من اي كتاب اناتومي محترم واطلس محترم
عن نفسي زاكرت منه ومن كتب د.نبيلة اديب اللي كنت جايبه في اولى وتانية وكنت جايب جرانتس اطلس وكان مفيد جدا ليا

كتب الPasTest الكتاب الاول وده عبارة عن جزئين كل واحد حوالي 550 صفحة
تزاكر منه بس الحجات اللي هتلاقيها في كتب الاسئلة اللي هرصهالك

3- How many questions were there ??

about the questions, starting from 15-1-2008 (the date in which i had the exam) all questions were 180 single best answer in 3 hours , i mean 1 question (or mostly a case solving question) in a minute !
many guys couldnt end at time but thanx God i could do so
regarding books,no one can settle basic siences of raftery enough however it covers a big part of the mrcs syllabus
more important are the question books, once u finish raftery book, go to the MCQ books ,they are 7 or 8
when u face an obstacle or something u cant understand go to the index of the revision notes & pick up the theams u want to read
u dont have to study all the Pastest revision notes, just read relating subjects
moreover u should have an anatomy atlas, grant's atlas is good, by the way rafterys book is not sufficient in anatomy but its considered a start point for studing .
clinically oriented anatomy book is one of the recommended books of MRCS , i see it perfect.
anatomy of Elliss book is not as good as i thought but it has a good clinical view

ولازم تحلها في دقيقة مش اكتر
يعني تتقري مرة واحدة بتركيز وتجاوب ولو طولت روح على اللي بعده علاطول

I know that the anatomy is very important , what I have studied in the anatomy is that in the Raftery , Pastest , and the subjects of the anatomy related the question books whach for sure doesn't present in reftery , is there any specific highly important anatomical subjects you advice me to study ,and were the one minute of each question is enought for the majority of the question

it took me about 6 months to be confident about it but still it worth more, i've never said Raftrey's basic siences is not good in pathology nor physiology , i said its not enough going into the 1st part with Raftrey's alone, indeed revising ur college surgery books will help u much but u know if i were u i wont waste my time studying my college books again but i may find Pastest revision notes(book 1&2) is a new experience to me , take ur time , study as hard as it can be , its not a matter of a certeficate, what u read now really will help u in the 2nd part just like the my case

ان شاء الله اكتب بكل التفاصيل تجربتى مع الجزء الاول و التانى من الزمالة
النتيجة الحمد لله كانت النجاح
فى الجزء الاول 130 من 177 و كان المطلوب للنجاح 100
الجزء التانى 132 من 166 و كان المطلوب للنجاح 121

و هناقش معاكو كمان ان شاء الله متطلبات و طريقة التحضير للجزء التالت
و اللى ناوى ادخله ان شاء الله بعد عام من دلوقتى

ملوش اى اهمية
المطلوب النجاح فقط

و كم من الوقت يلزم لمذاكرة part 1 ؟
شهرين
المذاكرة فى اليوم بين 2-5

و 3 او 4 اشهر هيبقى لو المذاكره هتبقى ما بين 1- 2 يوميا بتزيد فى آخر اسبوع بس

دا طبعا مع الوضع فى الاعتبار ان نصف المدة بتبقى مفيهاش مذاكرة خالص لظروف الشغل او السفر او غيره

و هل من الافضل امتحان part 2 بعد استلام النيابة ام لا في ضوء فترة 3.5 سنين لانهاء المعادلة برمتها؟
يفضل اى فترة من فترات الممارسة العملية
الحمد لله فترة امتيازى كانت ثرية
و كنت مدعوم بحضور الروتينى لمحاضرات استاذنا الدكتور حسين خيرى

وبالتالي ستكزن الأزمة .. بوجوب انهاء الزمالة برمتها اثناء النيابة

بتبقى على حسب الظروف
بس يفضل انها تبقى وراها على طول عشان الواحد يقدر ياخد اكبر عدد من الفرص
و يفضل انها متتعارضش مع امتحانات الماجيستير
بالرغم ان الامتحانين بيخدمو على بعض و بيساعدو بعض
بس فيه بعض الاختلافات لابد معاها من اختيار ميعاد مختلف للزمالة عن ميعاد امتحانات الماستر

طبعا الجزء دا هو اصعبهم
و اذا كانت نسبة النجاح فى الجزء الاول هى تقريبا 70%
و الجزء التانى 60%
فهى فى الجزء دا تتراوح ما بين 30-40%
محتاج تجهيز كبير و حضور اكتر
ان شاء الله هقول لكو على تفاصيل اكتر
بس انتو بس ادعولى

على فكرة انا سألت فى النقابه و قالو لى هناك ان الزمالة تعادل ماستر
و بمجرد الحصول على الشهادة بتاعتها يسجلو الحاصل عليها اخصائى مباشرة فى النقابة

انتو طول عمركو كان وشكو حلو عليا

A UK national who has graduated from a medical school outside the UK, EEA or Switzerland

New immigration rules for international medical graduates

New immigration rules that will restrict international medical graduates’ access to UK postgraduate medical training were announced by the Department of Health on 6 February 2008. Employment Prospects

We strongly recommend that before you apply for the PLAB test or registration that you find out whether you have a realistic chance of obtaining the kind of job you want.
The job market in the UK is very competitive and you should think very carefully about whether you are willing to take the risks involved in competing for posts.
Information about the number of applicants for posts categorised by specialty and location can be found at the British Medical Journal Careers website (http://www.bmjcareers.com/).

IMG doctors are eligible for two types of registration: provisional and full. If you have completed an acceptable internship either overseas or in the UK you will be eligible for full registration.
If you have not completed an acceptable internship you will be eligible for provisional registration. This type of registration is granted for the purpose of completing an acceptable programme for provisionally registered doctors but not further. In the UK, the acceptable programme for provisionally registered doctors is the Foundation Programme Year 1 (F1). Any practice undertaken outside an acceptable programme for provisionally registered doctors would be counted as technically unregistered practice and will not count as experience to move to full registration.
Please note: to undertake any other posts, including Foundation Year 2, you must hold full registration.
Please note: if you have completed an acceptable internship you are only eligible for full registration.
To obtain registration you will need to provide evidence of all of the following:
An acceptable Primary Medical Qualification

To be acceptable your primary medical qualification must have:


been awarded by an institution listed in the Avicenna Directory (http://avicenna.ku.dk/database/who_directory/) (formerly the WHO Directory of medical schools) or otherwise accepted by us and be currently acceptable to the GMC. (Please note: we do not accept all primary medical qualifications that are listed in the Avicenna Directory (http://avicenna.ku.dk/database/who_directory/). See below for more information)
been awarded by an institution that has a physical address included in the Avicenna (http://avicenna.ku.dk/database/who_directory/) Directory (http://avicenna.ku.dk/database/who_directory/) (for those in the Avicenna (http://avicenna.ku.dk/database/who_directory/) Directory (http://avicenna.ku.dk/database/who_directory/))
been awarded after a course of study comprising at least 5,500 hours (or four years full time equivalent study)

English language capability

Fitness to Practise

As part of your application you will be asked to complete a declaration of fitness to practise. It is important that you answer this honestly and provide further information for any question you answer ‘yes’ to. You will also be asked to provide details of your registration for all the medical regulatory authorities of any countries where you have practised or have held registration in the last five years.

We will need to see a Certificate of Good Standing (CGS) from each of the medical regulatory authorities that you have listed.
In cases where you are no longer registered, this may be known as a certificate of past good standing.
Certificates of Good Standing can take some time to arrive, please ensure you have all CGS before you apply for registration.
If you cannot get a Certificate of Good Standing then we may ask you for employers’ references from each employer that you have worked for in that country.
If you are unable to get a CGS or employer’s reference because you have not worked in the last five years we will ask for other evidence of your good standing. You will find more information on this in our application guidance as you apply for registration.
Knowledge, skill and experience

You will be asked to provide evidence of your medical knowledge and skill. This can be provided in one of four ways:


A pass in the PLAB test

Eligibility for entry onto the Specialist Register

You must have been found eligible to apply for specialist or GP registration by the Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board (PMETB) (http://www.pmetb.org.uk/) file:///C:/My%20Web%20Sites/GMC/www.gmc-uk.org/images/popup.gif(opens in a new window).

If you are applying for full registration you will also need to provide evidence that you have completed an acceptable internship. You will be asked to provide details of your pre-graduate or postgraduate internship. To be eligible for full registration you must have satisfactorily completed either F1 in the UK, or a period of pre-graduate or postgraduate clinical experience that provides an acceptable foundation for future practice as a fully registered medical practitioner. This will usually be referred to as an internship.
To be acceptable your internship must be either:


A 12 month programme that includes a minimum of three months in surgery and three months in medicine or
a programme of at least 10 months duration that includes a minimum of three months in surgery and three months in medicine which also includes an additional period of study of up to two months in order to prepare for an exit exam, together with successful completion of all exit examinations or
The equivalent of two years full time post qualification experience at a publicly funded hospital in at least two branches of medicine and/or surgery.

For your first 12 months of full registration you will be required to work within an approved practice setting. This means that you will only be able to work in settings that have been approved by us as having in place sufficiently supportive systems and quality assurance systems aimed at improving quality.

فى ناس كتير خليتنى اتراجع عن فكرة الزمالة ككل و انها ملهاش لازمة بره فى الدول العربية مش زى زمان

الزمالة المصرية أعتقد ان سمعتها مش زي زمان - بس دا كلام انا سمعته و مش متأكد منه

انا شخصيا مباخودش زمالة و لا بمتحن امتحان ما عشان اشتغل فى مكان معين
الحمد لله هدفى انى ارفع مستوايا و اذاكر طول الوقت و اكون على قدر مستوى الناس الانجليز او الامريكان و ميبقوش بتوع برة احسن مننا
اى هدف تانى بييجى فى المرتبة التانية
لذلك اهمية الشهادة فى الدول العربية او الاوروبية لا تعنينى فى شيء
فمش بدور قوى و لا بسأل على اهمية الزمالة جوة او بره لكن اللى يهمنى اهميتها بالنسبة ليا و لتطورى فى مجالى العملى
فمش هعرف قوى ارد على السؤال دا
دا كمان فى ظل حالة التوهان اللى مجال التعليم الطبى عايش فيها فى البلد هنا
مفيش خط واحد الناس بتمشى فيه
خطوط عنكبوتية متشابكة و متلخبطة
زمالات مصرية على عربية على قومية على اجنبية على معادلات على كورسات على ماجيستير على دبلومات
حتى جوا الماجيستير نفسه الجامعات بتختلف تماما عن بعضها
لخبطة عظمى
بتخلى الواحد يمشى فى كذا طريق مع بعض
زمالة اجنبية مثلا مع ماستر محلى زى ما انا شخصيا ما بعمل بس بيدى الاولوية لحاجة

هو فعلا الناس محدش فاضى ام انهم يبخلون علينا
عموما يادكتورة اطمنى الزمالة ليها وضعها والدليل شوفي الامتحانات ازاي صعبة وكمان اعرف ناس سافروا اخصائين بالزمالة مع بعض الخبرة
انا اشجعك كملى الجزء التانى ولكن اسالئ لانه تقريبا بعد دور ابريل الجاي لازم تدخلي part Aالنظام الجديد
